Kiya came home to live here in late April. She is the best little German Shepherd ever, my new best friend!!  She was an amazing amount of help for preparing for the Maryland Sheep and Wool Festival.

Kiya's roots are with Tom Ponelli, Atlantic Canine Training Center in York Springs, PA.  Tom has successfully retained authentic German lineages in his dogs and has trained dogs for many years.

Not too shabby!
To Zaia, although we never really knew who "owned" you!  The delightfully beautiful yellow lab/golden retriever who came home from Davis and Elkins College with Amber.  Always willing to go for a walk or a ride with you, she was a true hippie chick, and always loved the one she was with.  She parted this life too early at eight years young.
