Kiya came home to live here in late April,2009.  She is the best little German Shepherd ever, my new best friend!!  She was anamazing amount of help for preparing for the Maryland Sheep and Wool Festival.

Kiya's roots are with Tom Ponelli, Atlantic Canine Training Center in York Springs, PA.  Tom has successfully retained authentic German lineages in his dogs and has trained dogs for many years.

One year has passed since Kiya moved in.  She has been a true delighted.  She has been on many hikes, cross country skiing and had to work a few shows.  Her energy is boundless and always willing.  Our last has been an Agility Class just for laughs and giggles.

Not too shabby!
To Zaia, although we never really knew who "owned" you!  The delightfully beautiful yellow lab/golden retriever who came home from Davis and Elkins College with Amber.  Always willing to go for a walk or a ride with you, she was a true hippie chick, and always loved the one she was with.  She parted this life too early at eight years young.

All Good Dogs go to Heaven.
Rest and Relaxation by the pool, I am sure after a hard day of ground hog chasing!
